Coronavirus (COVID-19) - customer advice

Government guidance has recently changed. However, Housing Plus Group will be keeping Covid secure working practices in place. We believe this the safest decision for our customers, staff and communities. In addition, this enables us to continue providing services including vital repairs work.

Reporting repairs

Although the pandemic is affecting our staffing levels, our emergency repairs service is operating as usual. If you need to report an emergency repair, call 0300 300 0059. Please bear with us as it may take more time for your call to be answered during busy times and outside office hours. 

We are also committed to carrying out non-emergency repairs but our response time for these repairs is currently longer than usual. You can report non-emergency repairs 24/7 online. To allow us to dedicate our resources where they are most needed, please do not call to ask for updates about non-emergency repairs as we will contact you as soon as we have more information.

Scam phone calls

We have become aware that some customers are receiving scam phone calls or text messages claiming to be from their local housing association. These messages are advising customers to contact their local housing association on Whatsapp.

Please note: we do not use Whatsapp as a method of communication. If you receive a call or text message that you think may be a scam, please report any concerns to us on 0300 300 0059 or enquiries@severnsidehousing.co.uk

If someone comes to your home, please:

1. Always ask for identification before letting anyone into your home. Our staff, as well as our contractors, always carry ID.

2. Don’t deal with people who don’t have proper identification with them.

4. If you feel unsafe call the police.
