Reporting repairs

Although the pandemic is affecting our staffing levels, our emergency repairs service is operating as usual. If you need to report an emergency repair, call 0300 300 0059. Please bear with us as it may take more time for your call to be answered during busy times and outside office hours.

We are also committed to carrying out non-emergency repairs but our response time for these repairs is currently longer than usual. You can report non-emergency repairs 24/7 online. To allow us to dedicate our resources where they are most needed, please do not call to ask for updates about non-emergency repairs as we will contact you as soon as we have more information.

Your support and patience during this difficult time is really appreciated.

Shrewsbury Foodbank at Barnabus makes a big difference to the lives of people and families in crisis. So when the food bank needed help, we were delighted to step in.

Please beware of scams

West Mercia Police are warning Shrewsbury residents to be extra vigilant after a number of attempts to defraud people out of their banked savings have been reported. Criminals pretending to be police officers use a scam known as ‘courier fraud’ – they call members of the public and pretend they are a police officer investigating fraud.

Please be careful and pass this information on, particularly to elderly relatives or neighbours and warn them not to trust anyone who asks them for their bank details.

You can find out more on the police website - www.westmercia.police.uk
