Paying your rent is a key part of the tenancy agreement you have with us. It is your responsibility to make sure that your rent is paid on time – whether you pay your rent yourself or it is paid by someone else, including housing benefit.
If you are struggling to pay your rent, please talk to us. We can work together to try to ensure that you don’t fall into rent arrears and risk losing your home.
The rent that you pay covers the cost of repairs and maintenance, helps us to provide new homes in local communities and means that we can invest in improvements such as new kitchens and bathrooms.

Listed below are the range of different ways you can pay your rent:
Most customers find that the easiest way to pay their rent is by direct debit. It is convenient and gives you the peace of mind that your rent will be paid on time. You can choose a regular payment date each month.
You can call our customer services team on 0300 300 0059 who will be able to set up a direct debit over the telephone.
Alternatively, simply print off the direct debit form below and once completed please return to Severnside Housing, Brassey Road, Old Potts Way, Shrewsbury, SY3 7FA.
You can pay your rent over the telephone during office hours, using a debit or credit card. To do this call our customer services team on 0300 300 0059.
When calling out of hours you can make an automated payment by selecting Option 2 and being directed to Allpay.
Cash payments can be made using our paying in machine, located in the reception area at our Brassey Road office. Please note that the paying in machine is only accessible during normal office opening hours.
You can pay your rent by swipe card at any of the 28,000 PayPoint terminals in convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets, garages and Post Offices.
