Union donate laptops to Severnside's Learning Centre

UCATT have donated laptops to Severnside Housing’s Learning Committee for use in their Learning Centre.

Stuart Baker from UCATT said “UCATT have a great working relationship with Severnside so are pleased to be able to donate the laptops from our Union Learning Fund, which was set up to support our members and enhance their learning opportunities.”

Severnside’s Learning Committee, made up of Severnside colleagues and local trade union representatives, aims is to promote, initiate, support and monitor lifelong learning activities across the organisation. The Committee work to make learning opportunities as accessible and affordable as possible to all employees, enabling them to increase skills and maximise their potential.

Wendy Brookfield, Head of Community Services at Severnside said “Severnside’s Learning Committee is delighted with the new laptops UCATT have very kindly donated to our learning centre. We maintain strong links with our local trade unions and work closely to improve learning opportunities for our staff.
